感恩

若要總結今天的心清　要說感恩

工作開始了差不多一個月
雖沒談得上好辛苦
在心態適應上　灰心喪志　懷疑自己的時候也是有的
可是感謝主一路上都用不同的途徑提醒我 -
the purpose and goal in my career (and in my life)
由決定接受 offer 到現在　祂從來沒有放棄我
每一次的難題　都叫我再認清自己 serve 的是主　不是他人

在家庭上、感情上、教會學習和事奉上
以及在健康上、生活上、人際關係上、工作上
都懇求主繼續帶領
縱然知道自己信心和肉體軟弱
也願意向著主為我們每一個信徒分別定下的目標前進

靜下來想想　回想主為我預備的種種
每一件大小事都有其存在意義
看似失策的安排　帶來更大的反省和進步
總括來說　我的經歷是神給我度身訂造
為要 break my old self, shape up and transform me into the likeness of Jesus,
so that I can honour Him in my daily living
and ultimately, in better preparation for the eternal life after death

Some questioned God’s purpose in creating this world and in particular, Mankind
‘coz it was mentioned in the Bible that we as stewards are to take care of God’s creation and honour Him in what we do
I only consider this to be the one of the RESULTING EFFECT of mankind being created while the key lies in LOVE

God is LOVE
and it’s because of this great love
that He created mankind with the intention of maintaining a RELATIONSHIP with us
Isn’t that amazing? The creator of the world desiring to have a close relationship with us!!

Furthermore, I remember someone asked me why we should love God
and at bible study last week I came across this verse in Luke 7:47
“所 以 我 告 訴 你 ， 他 許 多 的 罪 都 赦 免 了 ， 因 為 他 的 愛 多 ； 但 那 赦 免 少 的 ， 他 的 愛 就 少 。”
Here it’s saying that by looking at the loving/gratifying act of the woman we are able to tell that her many sins have been forgiven.

A reflection:
Many of us are grateful and give thanks to God for His abundant provisions in our lives,
but while comparing to the fact that for Christ Jesus’ sake our sins were forgiven
isn’t it a much greater gift from God than any of the daily blessings we receive from Him?
Should we not rejoice and be grateful for this?

1 John 4:19 “We love because He first loved us.”
